The Artist
Tracy is a self-taught photo-realist oil painter by trade who continues to challenge himself with new mediums. The most recent is his exploration of watercolors, which began in 2022.
His style also can switch between very tight to a looser, more impressionistic style when he switches from brushes to palette knives.
The Inspiration
Tracy was told early in his career that it's an Artist's job to record history. He always keeps those words with him when he considers subjects for his work. He believes each piece must tell a story that each viewer decides the outcome of on their own.
The Mediums
Tracy creates in most mediums, but primarily oils, watercolors, and acrylics. Occasionally working with clay, wood or metal too. He also work in graphic design, helping companies with character development.
